A Tool for Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education Programs
Virtual assessment (VA) offers many benefits for programs, practitioners, and families, but it also requires that program leaders commit to providing the human and fiscal resources to ensure that VA will be well implemented.
We have developed a decision-making guide for program leaders and staff who may be interested in pursuing VA. This resource consists of questions in five areas (such as “Supporting Families”) to assess readiness. It describes what effective VA requires and provides an opportunity to reflect on whether your program is in a position to commit to implementing VA. The guide also contains links to additional resources in each area.
