As part of an International Society for Early Intervention (ISEI) symposium organized by Kathleen Hebbeler, “Innovations in the Use of Virtual & In-Vivo Authentic Assessment for Early Childhood Intervention Purposes,” INTECA staff shared lesson learned about the benefits and challenges of virtual assessment (VA). In addition to sharing the INTECA Framework for adopting and implementing VA, presenters discussed insights from early intervention and early childhood special education state staff, local program coordinators, and families about their experiences with virtual authentic assessment.
